COME TOGETHER

Resonance is an energetic or "vibrational" affinity that arises between people. It creates a dynamic bond and a sense of "oneness", a sense of harmony and mutual understanding. It can feel as though the energy of two or more people has fused together, into a single "resonant field". Resonance can take many forms and occur under many different circumstances. In the context of deep spirituality, resonance can be understood as the connecting link between the individual and the divine.

The Global Resonance Network is exploring the phenomena of resonance as the basis of a transformative group spirituality, that brings out the best in every person involved, and enhances the experience of co-creativity and attunement. We believe that resonance is the key to building spiritual unity across the boundaries of diverse beliefs, and that through resonance on a large scale, a transformation of individuals and entire societies can occur.

We believe that there are individuals and organizations all over the world who are discovering the phenomena of resonance, often in their own unique ways, and understanding the concept in slightly different terms. Yet it seems to be true that people everywhere are awakening to the magic of this harmonic energy bond, and encouraging its growth and understanding.

EXPLORATION AND RELATIONSHIP

In the resonant context of this network, we are developing "co-creative" approaches to some of the most important questions in spirit and society. Rather than teach or propose some ideology -- some body of cleanly defined and rigid concepts that we insist are "correct" while other are "wrong" -- we are looking for ways to bring diverse concept systems and ideologies together, in a spirit of mutual respect and listening. The people of the world are very diverse, coming from endlessly different cultures and societies and assumptions. How can we work together, to unfold the common and mysterious and seemingly unknown truths at the deepest core of our common humanity?

Here on this network, we are proposing a path and method of listening, of sharing, of mutual respect. No one of us knows everything, but together, we know a great deal. We are exploring co-creativity and "co-intelligence". We are gathering the collective brilliance of the human race, as the deepest common wisdom of our shared heritage. The human race is meant to be brilliantly successful, and deep within our souls, we know how to make this happen. The resonance network is exploring ways to unfold these potentials.

CO-CREATIVITY AND CULTURAL RENAISSANCE

Our work together here emerges through a process of co-creativity -- a process of collaboration, listening, sharing, and mutual influence. Co-creativity might be understood as an essential virtue of democracy. How are diverse people to work together successfully, in a rapidly changing world where assumptions and ideas are constantly challenged, and new ideas and insights sorely needed? How do we liberate the "collective genius" of a group, or a nation, or an entire civilization?

We are supposing that resonance can be a critical factor in liberating these energies. A society that comes into resonance can be a society of great power, insight, creativity, and grace. A society in co-creative resonance -- is a society in renaissance.

A THEOLOGY OF RESONANCE

In many mystical or interfaith contexts today, people are exploring ways to bring diverse groups together. Do religions and spiritual traditions point towards a common reality? Is there really "one God known by many names"? If there is "one truth", why is it that the religions of the world seem so diverse, and don't seem to agree on critical aspects? Why has there been so much religious warfare?

Through the resonance network, we are exploring ways that the ideals of interfaith cooperation and understanding can be "empowered in the spirit", by developing an approach to spirit and God that is not based on ideology or rigid belief systems, but on the living experience of spirit, and fundamental common practices that are found in almost every religious tradition. From this point of view, it's not what you "believe" -- it's who you are and what you do. It's the fruit of the spirit, it's what your religious faith and practice have made you, who you have become. It's your attitude.

Through the resonance network, we are exploring the idea that God is to be known through resonance. We believe that the mystical connection between human beings and the divine is mediated through resonance. It's "in the vibes". So, we are supposing that the religions of the world are all pointing towards a common "resonant core" that cannot be known or defined in terms of concepts, but is instead, "beyond words", and is knowable through experience and feeling and "fire".

In this sense, we are developing a kind of universal theology, based on virtues like humility and love and mutual respect -- taught by the founders of all religions -- and that through resonance, individual human beings can connect to the divine (in a "vertical" way), and at the same time, they can also connect to the divine center within every other human being (in a "horizontal") way.

UNIVERSAL COMMUNION

Through the Global Resonance Network, we are creating a kind of universal communion in the spirit. The network itself is something like a church or temple or cathedral. We are working together to bring our most sacred and informed insights into a common framework, of wholeness, unity, and power.

THE TRANSFORMATION OF SOCIETY

In the political world today, we are witnessing a powerful transformative process. The stresses of life are tearing down existing organizations and shattering old forms of relationships. Suspicion, doubt, misunderstanding, and accusation are often the consequences. As a counter-force, the spirituality of resonance is arising as a grassroots movement among people who deeply believe in a successful human future, who believe that people can and should understand each other -- and that human civilization can be transformed by an emerging spirit of trust, sharing and understanding, that is based on the wisdom traditions of every culture, and inspired by the greatest spiritual voices and teachers throughout history.

This website and network is about resonance -- what it is, how it can be cultivated and experienced, how it can transform you, or your group, or your society, or the entire world. Through our networking tools, we are reaching out to individuals everywhere who are sensing this vibration of resonance, who are attracted to it, who want to be in tune with it. Through the network, we hope to bring these individuals into relationship with one another, and explore every possibility for expanding our collective resonant field throughout the world.

ABOUT US

The Global Resonance Network is being developed by brs and a small circle of friends, including members of the Conscious Evolution Community in Santa Barbara California USA. Global Resonance is part of the Interspirit network, which connects many interfaith and new-consciousness groups around the world.
