"The mystery of the incarnation of the Logos is the key to all the arcane symbolism and typology in the Scriptures, and in addition gives us knowledge of created things, both visible and intelligible. He who apprehends the mystery of the cross and the burial apprehends the inward essences of created things; while he who is initiated into the inexpressible power of the resurrection apprehends the purpose for which God first established everything." We often do not realize how fragmented, overspecialized and self-limiting knowledge has become! Pursuit of Universal Knowledge and Truth must remain free from all categorical boundaries and belief systems; it must be evolutionary, expansive, pragmatic and able to fulfill the true needs of the world at present time. The word 'science' itself is simply the Latin word 'scientia' for knowledge. Forms of science historically developed out of philosophy or more specifically Natural Philosophy . Current notions of science and scientists date only to the 19th century! The word 'Christos' also means knowledge (Ramtha). The word 'Buddha' means the "Awakened one who knows." The word 'Buddh' in Sanskrit means 'to know.' The word Gnosis derives from Greek and connotes "knowledge" or the "act of knowing". The word 'Shaman'literally means "he (or she) who knows." The word "Catholic" in Latin, derived from Greek means "Universal". Buddha and Jesus did not teach people to 'worship' them, but to 'become' them.

Now to know, means to have a direct personal experience of the Ultimate Reality (Brahman), a union of seeing and knowing beyond all dualities and doubt, and a direct comprehension of Nature of Reality and the Nature of (transcendental divine) Self (Observer in Quantum Physics). The three vehicles of knowing/knowledge are the primordial lineage led by inner knowing, intuition, innate intelligence and inspiration, transmission lineage led by innovation, and organizational lineage led by institution. The primordial lineage which emphasises each individual's innate divine potential (Christ and Buddha nature) to self-awaken without the help of external authority is the most ancient one. Mystical traditions within all world religions highly regard such direct experience as an important source of transcendental knowledge, understanding, and wisdom (see Mysticism and Vedanta, Translation Vs. Transformation by K.Wilbur).

There is a great need for knowledge to become whole or holistic, because life is an indivisible whole! The seemingly unbridgeable gap between science and spirituality (which is the essence of all religions), art and technology, education and work, and life and occupation in general exist because Knowledge is not whole. In our conventional learning we mostly experience the heavy burden of knowledge (through continual reinforcement of past assumptions, facts and beliefs) and not the freedom and ecstasy of discovering something new and unknown!

The solutions to our most pressing human needs and persistent socio-economic and political problems already exist; we are not simply looking at those directions! The best solution is one that is most inclusive, non-dualistic and self-evident in its simplicity and beauty. A "Great Awakening" and Renaissance in human consciousness is taking place in many fields. Now is a great time to learn and step out of the human cocoon mind . The ultimate goal of all Spiritual or Scientific quest is to bridge gaps in perception through Knowledge of the whole unified energy field of mind-matter. Make Knowledge your teacher! See Jñāna Paramita, Jnana Yoga and Way of Buddha

What is Knowledge?

The ancient meaning of the word 'Prana' is Knowledge. "Knowledge is not the things that are usually associated with it. It is not ideas. It is not a body of information. It is not a system of belief. It is not a process of self-evaluation. It is the great mystery of your life. Its outward manifestations are profound intuition, great insight, inexplicable knowing, wise perception in the present and in the future and wise understanding of the past. But despite these great achievements of mind, knowledge is greater than this. It is your True Self, a Self that is not apart from life." - Steps to Knowledge

"Virtue is knowledge" - Socrates "Even if you are in the minority of one, Truth is still the Truth" - Gandhi "Purpose of the body is to serve the mind, and purpose of the mind is to serve Knowledge." - Mita

The Virtuvian Human is a Universal Human Being; see female figure in circle, horz arm, feet at angle

"If many little people, in many little places, do many little deeds, they can change the face of the earth!" - African Proverb Knowledge without practice is lame; practice without knowledge is blind. Life that is continually changing and unfolding in its higher expression is not obligated to conform to any human theory or institution; theory and practice by necessity must embrace, evolve and be informed by Life, Here and Now. - Susmita Barua

Bhikkhus, just as the dawn is the forerunner and first indication of the rising of the sun, so is right view the forerunner and first indication of wholesome states. For one of wholesome (samyak) view, bhikkhus, wholesome intention springs up. For one of wholesome intention, wholesome speech springs up. For one of wholesome speech, wholesome action springs up. For one of wholesome action, wholesome livelihood springs up. For one of wholesome livelihood, wholesome effort springs up. For one of wholesome effort, wholesome mindfulness springs up. For one of wholesome mindfulness, complete concentration springs up. For one of complete concentration, wholistic knowledge springs up. For one of wholistic knowledge, total deliverance springs up. - Buddha in Anguttara Nikaya 10:121 Note the word 'samyak' has been incorrectly translated as 'right' as in the eight-fold middle Path Holistic Education

Every religion, culture, community, party, profession, and organization must continually strive towards self-renewal - reforming and transforming itself from within than without, for its own sake and the sake of common good of all! If the leaders are failing, the members must assume that responsibility. That is perhaps the only way to preserve the integrity, essence, and character of the entity concerned. Lack of integrity eventually leads to disintegration! - Susmita Barua <><><>

1 View Conclusion Designing Money as Instrument of Public Trust, Private Collaboration and Sustainable Growth: As E. C. Riegel pointed out, "The greatest enemy of mankind is his ignorance of the inherent money power in all of us. When the realization of this comes to man, he will like Samson, push down the walls of his prison." Life is meant for living joyfully and creatively and not for continual mindless growth in production and consumption which itself is driven by debt-money system with unrepayable debt. Imagine a usury-free money that is created as an instrument of trust for all public and private (individual) endeavors. Money being the lifeblood and current of society and economy needs to circulate freely wherever there is genuine need for goods and services. Currency must allow free exchange and organization of human creative energy and it could be made freely available by the people, for the people wherever the need for such mutually beneficial exchange and delivery exist or needs ...
